How to Use a Master Prompt
Learn how to use a CM Tool Hub Master Prompt with ChatGPT. Copy the prompt, choose one of the generated ideas, provide a reference image or use the default design, and receive a complete video-generation prompt.

Using a Master Prompt from CM Tool Hub is simple.
You do not need to manually rewrite the prompt, understand complex prompt engineering, or build a video-generation prompt from scratch.
The basic workflow is:
Copy the Master Prompt → Paste it into ChatGPT → Choose an idea → Provide a reference image or use the built-in design → Receive your final video-generation prompt.
Different Master Prompts may generate different types of content, but the basic process is usually the same.
What Is a Master Prompt?
A Master Prompt is a reusable set of detailed instructions designed to guide ChatGPT through a specific content-generation workflow.
Instead of giving ChatGPT a short request such as:
Give me an idea for a water adventure video.
a Master Prompt already contains the important instructions ChatGPT needs to understand:
- What type of content to create
- How many ideas to generate
- What style the content should use
- What information it should ask you for
- How the final video prompt should be structured
- Which visual and physical details should remain consistent
- How the final scene should end
This means you can reuse the same Master Prompt to create many different videos while keeping the overall format and quality consistent.
Step 1: Find a Master Prompt
Start by browsing the Master Prompt Library.
Choose a Master Prompt based on the type of content you want to create.
For example, you may find Master Prompts for:
- Animal videos
- Satisfying videos
- Construction videos
- Health explainers
- Adventure videos
- Food videos
- Historical content
- Cinematic scenes
- Transformation videos
Open the Master Prompt page to see its description, example image, and full prompt.
Step 2: Copy the Full Master Prompt
On the Master Prompt page, click the Copy Master Prompt button.
This copies the complete prompt to your clipboard.
Make sure you copy the entire Master Prompt rather than only part of it.
The full prompt contains the instructions ChatGPT needs to run the complete workflow correctly.
Step 3: Open a New ChatGPT Conversation
Open ChatGPT and start a new chat.
Paste the complete Master Prompt into the message box and send it.
You normally do not need to add another instruction.
The Master Prompt already tells ChatGPT what it should do next.
Step 4: Let the Master Prompt Generate Ideas
After you send the Master Prompt, ChatGPT will begin the workflow defined inside it.
Most CM Tool Hub Master Prompts first generate a list of content ideas.
Depending on the Master Prompt, this may be:
- 10 ideas
- 20 ideas
- Or another number defined by that particular prompt
For example, a water-adventure Master Prompt may generate ideas such as different floating obstacle challenges, balance courses, water platforms, or similar scenes.
Each idea will normally have a number.
For example:
- Floating Ball Sprint
- Rotating Water Platform
- Narrow Balance Bridge
- Giant Inflatable Steps
- Moving Water Pads
You do not need to rewrite the idea you want.
Simply reply with its number.
For example:
3
ChatGPT will understand that you want to continue with idea number 3.
Step 5: Choose a Reference Image or Use the Default Design
Some Master Prompts allow you to provide a reference image before generating the final video prompt.
After choosing your idea, you can upload an image if you want the generated scene to follow a particular visual design.
A reference image can help establish details such as:
- Character appearance
- Environment
- Clothing
- Object design
- Layout
- Camera perspective
- Overall visual style
If you do not have a reference image, simply reply:
USE YOUR DESIGN
ChatGPT will then create the scene using the design rules already contained inside the Master Prompt.
This makes the workflow useful even when you are starting with only an idea.
Step 6: Receive the Final Video-Generation Prompt
After you select an idea and provide a reference image or choose USE YOUR DESIGN, ChatGPT generates the complete video-generation prompt.
The exact output depends on the Master Prompt.
For video-focused Master Prompts, the final result may contain detailed instructions for:
- The main subject or character
- Environment
- Character actions
- Object movement
- Camera position
- Camera movement
- Lighting
- Physics
- Timing
- Scene progression
- Reactions
- Ending
- Negative constraints
- Technical video settings
Some CM Tool Hub Master Prompts generate the final instructions in structured JSON format so they can be easily copied into a compatible video-generation workflow.
Example: Using a Water Adventure Master Prompt
Imagine you open a Master Prompt designed to generate realistic water-adventure challenge videos.
1. Copy the Master Prompt
Click Copy Master Prompt on CM Tool Hub.
2. Paste It Into ChatGPT
Open a new ChatGPT chat, paste the full prompt, and send it.
3. Review the Generated Ideas
The Master Prompt may automatically generate 10 or 20 different water-adventure challenge concepts.
For example:
- Floating stepping-ball challenge
- Rotating platform crossing
- Narrow inflatable balance bridge
- Moving water-pad challenge
- Suspended rope crossing
4. Choose One
If you want idea number 2, simply reply:
2
5. Choose the Visual Design
ChatGPT may then ask for a reference image.
You can either upload one or reply:
USE YOUR DESIGN
6. Get the Final Prompt
ChatGPT then creates the complete video-generation prompt.
For this type of Master Prompt, the result could describe:
- The athlete
- The water obstacle course
- Realistic balance movement
- Water physics
- Spectators
- Smartphone-style camera footage
- A successful finish or safe splash ending
- Crowd reactions
- The complete 15-second scene progression
You can then use that final prompt in your chosen AI video-generation tool.
Do I Need to Edit the Master Prompt?
Usually, no.
The easiest approach is to first use the Master Prompt exactly as provided.
Copy the entire prompt into ChatGPT and follow the workflow.
Once you understand how the Master Prompt works, you can experiment with changing details if you want a more customized result.
For example, you might change:
- Character type
- Location
- Clothing
- Environment
- Camera style
- Video duration
- Visual mood
However, removing important instructions from the Master Prompt may change the quality or structure of its output.
Should I Use a New Chat Every Time?
Starting with a new ChatGPT chat is recommended when you begin using a different Master Prompt.
This helps prevent instructions from an earlier conversation from affecting the new workflow.
For example, if you previously used an animal-video Master Prompt and now want to use a water-adventure Master Prompt, starting a new chat keeps the instructions separate.
Can I Generate More Than One Video From the Same Master Prompt?
Yes.
That is one of the main advantages of a Master Prompt.
You can reuse the same Master Prompt and select different generated ideas.
For example:
- First run: choose idea 2
- Second run: choose idea 7
- Third run: choose idea 10
Each selection can lead to a different final video-generation prompt while still following the same overall format and visual rules.
You can also begin a new chat and run the Master Prompt again to generate another set of ideas.
What Does “USE YOUR DESIGN” Mean?
When a Master Prompt asks for a reference image, you may not always have one.
Replying:
USE YOUR DESIGN
tells ChatGPT to create the visual design itself using the instructions already included in the Master Prompt.
This means ChatGPT can decide appropriate details such as:
- Character appearance
- Environment design
- Props
- Clothing
- Colors
- Scene layout
while still following the Master Prompt's overall concept.
Can I Upload My Own Reference Image?
Yes, when the Master Prompt supports a reference-image step.
Upload the image directly into the ChatGPT conversation when requested.
ChatGPT can then use the visible characteristics of the image as guidance when preparing the final prompt.
Your reference image does not necessarily need to match the final video perfectly.
It can simply provide useful direction for the character, environment, composition, object, or overall look you want.
Do All Master Prompts Work Exactly the Same Way?
No.
Different Master Prompts can have different workflows.
One prompt may generate 10 ideas, while another may generate 20.
One may ask for a reference image, while another may move directly to generating the final prompt.
One may produce a 15-second video prompt, while another Master Prompt may be designed for a different duration or type of content.
Always follow the instructions generated by the particular Master Prompt you are using.
However, most CM Tool Hub Master Prompts follow the same general pattern:
- Copy the Master Prompt.
- Paste it into a new ChatGPT chat.
- Let it generate ideas.
- Select an idea by number.
- Upload a reference image or choose the provided default-design option when requested.
- Receive the final generation prompt.
What Should I Do With the Final Prompt?
Once ChatGPT generates the final video prompt, copy it and use it with the AI video-generation tool that fits your workflow.
Before generating, quickly review the prompt and make sure the details match what you want.
You can also ask ChatGPT to change a specific detail before using it.
For example:
Change the athlete's shirt to red.
or:
Make the location a tropical beach.
or:
Keep everything the same but change the ending to a successful finish.
You do not normally need to regenerate the entire Master Prompt just to make one small change.
The Complete Workflow
The entire process can be summarized in six steps:
- Choose a Master Prompt from CM Tool Hub.
- Click Copy Master Prompt.
- Paste it into a new ChatGPT conversation.
- Choose one of the generated ideas by replying with its number.
- Upload a reference image or reply “USE YOUR DESIGN” when requested.
- Copy the final video-generation prompt and use it in your generation workflow.
Once you have done it once, the process usually takes only a few simple interactions.
Start With a Master Prompt
Browse the Master Prompt Library and choose a content style you want to try.
You do not need to start with a finished idea.
The Master Prompt can generate the ideas first, guide you through the selection process, and then build the detailed final prompt for you.
Choose a prompt, click Copy Master Prompt, open a new ChatGPT conversation, and follow the steps it gives you.
